The Sony FX3 is one of the most frequently rented bodies by us. Full-frame, Cinema Line, exceptional low-light and S-Cinetone mode straight from the camera. But to get the most out of it on the shooting day - it's worth knowing what to bring and what to pay attention to.
Why FX3 and not A7S III?
The FX3 and A7S III have the same sensor - but the FX3 has built-in side handles, a full set of audio inputs (XLR via the included Top Handle), a cooling fan (records without time limits) and a dedicated TC (timecode) button. For working on set with multiple cameras and separate sound, this makes a big difference.
What is included in the set?
- Sony FX3 body + XLR handle (Top Handle) with audio inputs
- NP-FZ100 batteries x2 + charger
- CFexpress Type A card + SD adapter
- Lens of your choice (see below)
- Transport case
Lens selection - what to choose?
For the FX3 we offer lenses from the Sony G Master series: 24mm f/1.4, 35mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.2 and 85mm f/1.4. For a one-day shoot, clients most often take 35mm + 85mm - this covers most situations from documentation to portraits and interviews.
If you mainly film interiors or want everything in one lens - the 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II is a convenient compromise solution. The zoom loses a bit compared to primes, but offers flexibility without changing glass.
Collection and return - Częstochowa and shipping
You collect the equipment in person in Częstochowa - we arrange a time, you do a short test on site. Shipping by DPD courier is also available the day before the shooting day. Return: in person or by courier on the agreed date.
Security deposit and insurance
Refundable security deposit: 2,000-3,000 PLN depending on the set (BLIK or bank transfer, refunded within 24h after receiving the equipment in good condition). The equipment is not insured on the client's side - for outdoor shoots or foreign trips, we recommend purchasing damage insurance.
Have a specific date? Go to the rental form and reserve a set - we will reply the same day with availability confirmation.
